Specific duties

• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools, including saws, routers, sanders, and drills, to cut, shape, and finish wood pieces.
• Read complex blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings and modify them when Necessary
• Design and built various custom cabinets according to the client.
• Assembling the cabinet using screws, hammers and nails to form the unit.
• Mark, outline dimensions of parts on paper or wood stock, according to blueprint or drawing specifications.
• Apply stains, varnishes, or paints to enhance the appearance of the finished product
• Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• Use various hand tools to fabricate and repair high grade wooden cabinets and kitchen hoods.
• Assemble cabinets and furniture using various joinery techniques, such as dovetail joints, mortise and tenon, and biscuit joinery.
• Estimate costs and materials
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Ensure construction materials are stored properly and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition
